550 Patients Benefit from Mega Free Health Check-up, Diagnostic and Treatment Camp Organized by Lions Clubs..

On the occasion of the birthday of Mrs. Karunatai Balasaheb Kundgir, Member of the Zilla Parishad, Gangakhed, a Free Health Check-up, Diagnostic and Treatment Camp was jointly organized by Lions Club Parbhani Prince, Lions Club Gangakhed Town and Lions Club Femina Gangakhed on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at Gangakhed, Parbhani district. The main objective of the camp was to provide accessible healthcare services to people in need and promote awareness about preventive healthcare and the early diagnosis of diseases. A total of 550 patients benefited from the camp by receiving health check-ups, diagnostic services, medical advice and treatment. Several specialist doctors participated in the camp and provided valuable medical guidance to the patients. The medical team included Dr. Suryakant Deshmukh and Dr. Govind Kadam, Orthopaedic Specialists; Dr. Vikas Chopade, Specialist in Cardiology, Diabetes and Critical Care; Dr. Deepak More, General Surgeon and Gastrointestinal Specialist; Dr. Atmaram Puri; Dr. Rupali Mopkar, General Physician; and Dr. Saraswati Ratner, Physiotherapist. The doctors examined patients, offered expert consultations and guided them regarding appropriate treatment and further healthcare needs. The joint efforts of all three Lions Clubs, the participating doctors and volunteers contributed to the successful completion of the camp. The initiative reflected the Lions Clubs' commitment to humanitarian service, public health and community welfare.
