Participate in 11000 tree plantation drive

On *Thursday, 6 August 2026*, Lions Club Bhusawal enthusiastically participated in the *11,000 Tree Plantation Campaign* jointly organized by *Dainik Bhaskar*, *MIDC Association*, and *Jai Ganesh Foundation*. As a part of this significant environmental conservation initiative, all members of Lions Club Bhusawal contributed their humble efforts by planting trees and supporting the successful completion of the campaign's goal of planting *11,000 trees*. The plantation drive was carried out in the distinguished presence of *Mr. Rohan Ghuge, District Collector of Jalgaon*, *Mr. Jitendra Patil, Sub-Divisional Officer (Prant Officer), Bhusawal*, *Mrs. Shailaja Narkhede, the first woman Mayor of Bhusawal*, and *Lion Pramod Nemade, Zone Chairperson*. Students also actively participated in the programme under the *"Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" (One Tree in Mother's Name)* campaign by planting saplings with great enthusiasm, spreading a strong message of environmental responsibility and sustainability. Through this initiative, the message *"Plant Trees, Save Trees"* was shared with the community, encouraging every citizen to take an active role in protecting the environment. The programme stood as an inspiring example of collective responsibility, bringing together government officials, social organizations, students, and citizens for a greener future.
