Grand Success of the 20th Installation Ceremony of Lions Club Parbhani Prince Parbhani | 9th August 2026 The 20th Installation Ceremony of Lions Club Parbhani Prince was held on Sunday, 9th August 2026, at Hotel Vatika, Vasmant Road, Parbhani, in a grand, dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere. Based on the inspiring theme “Karm Hi Pooja – Work is Worship,” the ceremony beautifully reflected the club’s commitment to service, social responsibility and humanitarian values. The ceremony was presided over by Ln. Dr. Suryakant Deshmukh. The new office-bearers for the Lions Year 2026–27 formally assumed their responsibilities, with Ln. Dr. Suryakant Deshmukh as President, Ln. Vikas Yeske as Secretary, and Ln. Pro. Narhari Phad as Treasurer. The entire team pledged to undertake meaningful and impactful service activities throughout the year. The programme was graced by distinguished personalities including Ln. Dilipji Modi (PMCC & MD-GST) as Chief Guest, Mr. Vilas Bade (Assistant Editor, News18 Marathi) as Esteemed Guest, and Ln. Purushottam Jaypuriya, Past District Governor, as the Installation Officer. Excellent Anchoring The entire programme was conducted with great elegance and energy by Ln. Dr. Mahendra Sharma and Ln. Dr. Ramesh Shinde. Ritesh Bhaiyya Jain – Corporator, Parbhani Municipal Corporation, was felicitated for his contribution to public and social service. 2. Ln. Kailas Somwanshi was honoured with the prestigious “Arogya Ratna Award” in recognition of his contribution to the healthcare sector. 3. Ln. Ganesh Deshmukh – Deputy Mayor, Parbhani Municipal Corporation, was specially felicitated for his contribution to society and civic service. Special Mahadev Theme for the Installation Ceremony A special “Mahadev Theme” was conceptualised and created by Ln. Purushottam Jaypuriya especially for the Installation Ceremony. The spiritual and symbolic presentation of Lord Mahadev beautifully complemented the spirit of installation, service and commitment. The theme conveyed powerful values of dedication, responsibility, sacrifice, devotion and service, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the ceremony. The unique concept and presentation were highly appreciated by all the dignitaries and members present. Lions Club Parbhani Prince – A Legacy of Service Lions Club Parbhani Prince has established a strong tradition of humanitarian service through various permanent projects, including Drushti, Annachatra, Sai Jal Seva, Saarthi, Lions Library, Aatma Nirbhar and Eye Screening Centre. The club is also progressing towards major upcoming initiatives such as the Swarg Rath Project and Free Dialysis Centre, which will further strengthen its contribution to the community. The ceremony also witnessed the recognition of distinguished personalities under the “Lions Seva Gaurav Awards” for their contributions in journalism, taxation, police services, medical services and education.
